Arctic Energy Solutions Inc, a sister company of Homesol Building Solutions, a fast-growing company, is looking to add to their team of experts in Nova Scotia- Halifax, Bedford and Dartmouth

We are seeking a site-preparation and cleaning technician to assist the team to reach peak service, productivity and quality. The ideal candidate will have basic building science knowledge and a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who will do spray foam insulation and blown in insulation, once they are trained and certified.  In addition we are looking for someone with carpenter skills that feels comfortable installing gable vents and attic hatches.  You do not need to be certified as a Carpenter, just comfortable doing these duties.  

The successful candidate will be a hardworking team-player, detail-oriented and a willing student. Candidates must be dependable and maintain a valid drivers license during all time of employment.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

·         Measure and cut insulating material to required dimensions using hand and power tools.

·         Instal gable vents and attic hatches

-         Install protection barriers such as plastic to surfaces to be sprayed.

·         Apply heat-retardant product over insulating materials.

·         Prepping the job site with health and safety standards in mind

·         Leaving our clients’ homes clean on departure.

$20-$22/ hour to start (depending on experience)
